Shrikant Brahme is a Senior Quality Professional with strengths in CMMI Institute CMM/CMMI, ISO 9001, Cobit, ISO 27001 and TQM frameworks (like European Quality Award of EFQM for Business Excellence).

He has over 29+ years of experience spanning software and implementing Quality Systems in various sectors of industry such as Information Technology, Electronics, Communication, and Automobile. He has wide Industrial Experience in Project and Program Management, Quality Control, and Quality Assurance Functions. He headed various Process Improvement initiatives, Software Measurement Program, Internal Process Audits and External Audits / Assessments. He worked as QA Analyst, Designer, Developer and Tester during his career.

Presently Shrikant Brahme is working as Founder & Principal Consultant at IT Process Advisory Compliance & Training Services, which is in the business of providing Advisory, Appraisal, audit & Training services in CMMI, COBIT, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 27001:2013, ISO 20000:2011, & Agile frameworks.

He started his career in the software industry with Zensar and Cognizant. He headed SEPG for achieving SW-CMM L5 and CMMI L5 initiatives at Zensar Technologies Ltd. Pune, India (earlier known as International Computers India Limited, ICIL) and Cognizant Technologies, Pune. Also, he headed CMMI consulting practice at Zensar. Worked in TUV Rheinland, India and headed Western Region, India for CMMI, PCMM and ISO 27001 consulting and management advisory practice.

Shrikant was working as Head Quality Assurance Group, MR and Information Chief Officer (ISO) at Nihilent Technologies who is CMMI Institute partner organization and successfully achieved CMMI-DEV L5 and CMMI-SVC L3.

Being CMMI Certified Lead Appraiser, conducted more than 40 CMMI appraisals.He has carried out more than 3000 hours of interim assessments of Quality Management systems at several software organizations, provided consultancy in the areas of Gap analysis, Process definition, Process deployment, Metrics program development and deployment, Establishment process performance models, capability Baselines and Class C and B appraisals.

Being COBIT 5 Implementer and Certified assessor, he has performed assessment of AS –IS practices against COBIT 5 requirements, identify improvement opportunities, Identify AS-IS Maturity Level and establish Implementation strategy to achieve Maturity Level 3.

Being ISO, Shrikant has established Information Security Management System based on ISO 27001:2013 standards. He is instrumental for institutionalizing various security policies and procedures for logical, network and physical security requirements.
